How and why we use information
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for using personal information. The basis depends on the activity:
To respond, provide proposals, fulfil contracts and manage customer relationships. We rely on contract, steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interests.
To prevent abuse, investigate incidents and protect systems, customers and staff. We rely on legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
For billing, accounting, supplier management and legal records. We rely on contract, legitimate interests and legal obligations.

To answer messages and provide service information. Optional WhatsApp contact is based on your explicit choice. Marketing is sent only where permitted.
To assess applications and communicate with candidates. We rely on steps before a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligations where relevant.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity and balance our interests against your rights. We do not use website form information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary with organisations that help us deliver and secure our services, including hosting and cloud providers, support and communications systems, email and productivity providers, payment and accounting providers, recruitment tools and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.
If you choose WhatsApp contact, relevant contact details and messages are processed through WhatsApp. If you consent to analytics, website usage information is processed using Google Analytics. These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where information is transferred internationally, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and require appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose collected and for applicable legal, accounting, contractual, security and dispute requirements. Support, sales, customer and recruitment records have different retention needs and are reviewed or securely deleted when no longer required.
Google Analytics event and user-level data is set to be retained for 14 months. Our cookie preference cookie lasts for 12 months unless you change or remove it sooner. Aggregate analytics reports may remain after identifying data has been deleted.
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, secure systems, backups, monitoring and supplier oversight. No internet or storage system is completely risk-free. We assess suspected personal data breaches and notify affected people or the regulator where the law requires it.

- Access your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request erasure in certain circumstances.
- Restrict how information is used.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.

Analytics, events and cookies
We use strictly necessary storage to remember your cookie choice and operate the site. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may collect page views, scrolls, outbound link clicks, site searches, form interactions and basic device, browser and referral information.
We also measure confirmed outcomes such as a successfully submitted support ticket, sales enquiry, job application or abuse report. Event data may include the form type, lead type and submission method. We do not intentionally send form contents, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, uploaded files or ticket references to Google Analytics.
Analytics is not loaded when you choose “Essential only”. You can withdraw analytics consent using the “Cookie settings” control in the footer; the site then removes its Google Analytics cookies from your browser. See our Cookie Policy for the current cookie list, durations and detailed controls.
